Circle Punch with a clip?

So I’ve been watching everyone’s posts on things they learned from the Stampin Up convention at UT and today was the first time I saw on Youtube under theserenestamper.stampinup.net blog this technique of using your Circle punches along with your Pendant punch to make these neat flowers.  Here’s my card:

So you first stamp a few on your favorite cardstock and then using multiple circle punches, punch out a few circles in different sizes so they kind of layer on top of each other.  Now flip each one over and using a pencil, make 5 marks on the edge of the circles like at the tips of a star.  I found I needed to punch a small star out from white cardstock to have a guide as to where to put the marks.  Then take out your Pendant punch and use the straight side pendant.  Put adjustable adhesive on the backside of the circle and a shim (a long piece to put your small circles on in order to fit them into the Pendant punch).  Punch a small slit at your marks all around your circle.  I think it’s a cute flower.

I used lots of Calypso Coral – it makes me think of summer!  The flowers are stamped using the Mixed Blossom punch with Calypso Coral and topped with a simple pearl.  The flower frame came from the Nicest Thing stamp set.  It’s just a simple line pf flowers that I used around the outline of the card.  The leaves – are actually circle punches that were circle punched in half to make leaves out of Lucky Limeade cardstock.  The sentiment is also from the Nicest Thing stamp set.

I simple card.  Tell me what you think of the flowers!  Have a Magical Day!
