Girl Scout Christmas Bonanza

This year my Girl Scout Troop decided to celebrate Christmas with a cookie and present swap!  Since it was our first time I asked all the girls to make their own cookies, which all 14 of them did!!  I was so surprised at all the different flavors. Here we all are waiting patiently to either eat our cookies or open our gifts! 1219121846

I made a Devil’s chocolate cake cookies with Andes candy melted on top – found it on Pinterest.  1202121129[1]   I think I’ve already posted about these cookies – YUM!! J made Devil’s chocolate cake cookies with a melted Hershey kiss on top!  They looked like Elf hats.

The most unique has to go to this one.  1219121846a

I had seen this on Pinterest but hadn’t even given it a try, but one parent was creative enough!  Can I just say they were SO good!!

So here we are with our presents – 1219121805Actually this is while the girls were circling the table trying to spy their options! LOL!

Just in case you were interested I got a lovely black headband with a black sequined bow and dark blue hologram nail polish!  It was a fun time had by all!  The girls all want to do it again next year!  Actually there was talk of wanting to do it every meeting, but after this meeting I had already made 15 dozen cookies and I wasn’t about to make anymore!!

Did anyone else have a cookie swap this year?  I’d love to hear the yummy cookie creations you made!

Have a Magical Day!

They are SO easy to make and SUPER yummy!!! Make sure you only cook them for about 7 mins, drop the Ande’s mint right after you take them out of the oven and then after 5 mins spread the yummy chocolate around. I let them cool next to an open window. They were the only cookie Santa ate this year! Enjoy!

A bit of this. A bit of that.
