Mixed Media Morsel Technique #5

Mixed Media Morsel Technique #5 – Tissue Paper

Well I love using tissue paper, it has SO many uses!  This technique was fun and a great way to create a background.

Take a piece of tissue paper and crumble it up.  Glue it down on page allowing  spacer to wrinkle as much as possible.  Dry.

Paint the page and dry.

Then using a contrasting ink pad lightly drag it across the page to color the wrinkles.

First thing I learned about this technique, DONT try to seal this page with Gel Medium or Mod Podge because it smears the ink as you can see here.  I like the crackle look this creates.

I can wait to see the color combinations you come up with.

Have a Magical day!
