Gobble This!

So today is Turkey Day!  I hope you are enjoying your family and stuffing yourself full of yummy goodness!

The Lalas are heading over to my mother’s house where the food will be healthy and the bellies will be food.  Of course Mr. Lala is just hoping that the Football game will be ON! LOL!  Big Patriots fans in the Lala house – we are in New England.  Of course we’re about an hour from Plymouth Plantation where the first Thanksgiving was eaten between Puritans and Native Americans back in 1621, however we are ever thankful to our Founding Fathers for the sacrifices they made to come here to the new land and find religious freedom.

Ok with that said – I thought I’d make a Turkey card, because I’m sure you’ve only seen tons of them all over the place.  Why shouldn’t I have one too!!

Ok I’m sorry the picture is yucky!  So I made this turkey out of punches – scallop circle punch for the belly, Modern label punch for the neck, small circle for the head, mini flower for the gobble, mini heart for the beak and large oval punch for the wings which were folded in half and then put thru a brayer.  The sentiment is from the Seasonal Saying which I love.  Can I just tell you the darn bow took forever for me to put together!

Well my Pumpkin cupcakes are made by MD and my smooth as silk potatoes are done by Mr. Lala so I am ready to start the Thanksgiving eating!  I hope you and your family have a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving Holiday!

Now start the Black Friday Sales while I sleep in!  Have a Gobble of a Day! LOL!
